proxycafe is a series of meetings and workshops about free and opensource software, technology, society and the relation between technology and politcs. It is run by volunteers who are willing to share their time and skills to others, because we believe in DIY, doing social things for the people by the people. We like to do it because we love the topic, not because of money or somehow tell us to do it. Also we like to keep autonomous spaces active as we feel priviledged to have such spaces with so many social activities. There is always some small things that have to be done. You can always have a look at our pad at pad.puscii.nl/p/proxycafe or ask in our #proxycafe channel. We are always looking for people who are willing to give a talk or a workshop, someone who wants to share their knowledge to others, so feel free to propose us an event!
You can propose events by filling the event_proposal.md and send it to us via email at proxycafe AT puscii nl or in the #proxycafe IRC/Matrix channel. We will contact you when we will receive the proposal! They will be reviewed and if accepted announced on radar.
